We are proud to announce that RJ Arhar, President of Starfish Computer, in conjunction with successful marketing entrepreneur Peter Swain, of Magic on Tap, raised over $415,000 for the American Foundation of the Blind.
Their winning team comprised of over 200 members won a multi-team fundraising challenge over four days at a business event. The goal was $315,000 dollars with $100,000 being matched by former Cleveland Cavaliers owner Gordon Gund who supports the American Foundation of the Blind. This foundation supports 30 million people who are visually impaired helping them wake up to a brighter future. 21 million of those affected will never hold down employment. We are grateful to have contributed to this charity supporting this underserved part of the population.
In addition, we worked with Black Clover company who makes the popular golf hat with a four-leaf clover and “live lucky” on the bill. A special edition hat in braille is being manufactured and those who donated $250 or more were able to secure this limited-edition product.
