About Starfish Computer
Starfish Computer is a complete technology solution provider started by R.J Arhar in 1994. R.J. previously was the IT Director for an international security company headquartered in northeast Ohio prior to starting Starfish Computer. He was responsible for IT systems supporting 8,000 employees. He is a degreed engineer with graduate studies in information systems and computer engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He holds many industry-wide certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and HP Accredited System Engineer.
Starfish Computer was awarded by Microsoft for their innovative security solution protecting customers’ networks. We continue to grow our security practice using industry best practices and advance testing systems to protect our client’s networks from cyber security problems.
CIO Review selected Starfish Computer to receive one of the 100 Most Promising Microsoft Solutions Providers Award. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, we play a key role in Microsoft’s drive towards IT innovation. We are also required to have all our engineers trained and certified in Microsoft technologies and solutions to maintain the Gold Partner status. Our technicians are certified, and training is ongoing to stay on top of all the recent IT developments, tools, and applications.
Testimonials
Starfish Computer Corporation hosted a disaster recovery exercise to test and validate our disaster recovery plan. We were able to remotely test our phone system (including DID, disaster recovery phone group, automated attendant, etc.), our Virtual Local Area Network and Virtual Private Network, our Cloud data retrieval, computer interface and execution by our staff and our server communications.
